UPDATE: This event has been postponed until Fall 2020 in light of public health concerns stemming from COVID 19.

Marymount Manhattan College will be hosting an event in April called “WOMEN IN PUBLISHING: Thriving in a Changing Industry”. Pace’s very own Jennifer Romanello will be the convener!

This is a one-day workshop that will give you the opportunity to hear many women leaders from the publishing industry speak about their experiences. Marymount says:

“Whether you are currently working in publishing and looking for advice on how to advance your career, or you are a student preparing to launch your career in the industry, this workshop is the perfect occasion to meet and network with like-minded professionals and accomplished female leaders in the field.”

Speakers include Pace alum Jessica Napp — currently the Associate Director of Publicity at Rizzoli — and their Keynote Speaker is Diana Baroni — the SVP, Editor in Chief of Harmony Books and Rodale Books. Read more information on the speakers and the workshop’s schedule directly from their website, here.

The event will take place on April 2, 2020, and will last from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, in the Regina Peruggi Room on Marymount’s campus.

Attendance is FREE for Pace students. To register, click here, or follow the link on Marymount’s website. Make sure to bring your Pace ID.

This is a wonderful way to connect with women leaders in the publishing industry, and get to know peers who are also burgeoning professionals.
