The company launched in 2001 initially with a list of 100 preeminent backlist titles. Headquartered in New York City, today the company’s 500-plus title list includes leading back and frontlist titles, original short eBook lines and original digital-only titles across a broad array of publishing categories in fiction and nonfiction.
The RosettaBooks ebook design intern will work under the production department but may assist across all departments, gaining a sense of how eBooks are made. Assignments will include taking on entrepenuerial tasks involving guts of ebooks and auditing our style guide’s overall user experience from an asset, software, and hardware perspective. Come with a solid knowledge of web technologies, and be prepared for crash-course training in ebooks as digital objects.
Length of internship:
The internship will last three months at 24 hours per week. The summer 2014 internship will begin in May and will run through the end of August.
