Pegasus Books, one of the fastest-growing independent publishing companies in the country, is dedicated to the aim of independent publishing that stimulates both the intellect and the imagination. During this panel discussion, Pegasus Books’ Associate Publisher Jessica Case and Marketing Director and Senior Editor, Iris Blasi will provide an insider’s perspective on independent publishing. They will discuss the company’s history, its philosophy, its many successful and critically acclaimed books, its dynamic digital development and the realities of being an independent publisher in 2014. Joining the discussion will be two Pegasus authors: mystery writer, Parnell Hall, who has published several books with Pegasus Books including Hitman, Caper and Stakeout, and Bill Morris, staff writer at The Millions and author of the forthcoming Motor City Burning.
