Taylor & Francis’ Encyclopedia Program is seeking candidates for the position of Editorial Assistant. This position assists in developing titles for both print and electronic products.

Primary responsibilities: assist editors in review process, from invitation through compensation. Maintain project database records. Create and maintain standard reports, forms, contracts, and files. Check and process permissions, evaluating compliance with author instructions, and retitling manuscripts for Encyclopedia style. Participate in the testing and implementation of systems supporting content management, web publishing, and acquisition activities. Work with editorial, marketing, sales, and publicity departments.

Job Requirements
BA or equivalent educational experience. Publishing experience preferred. Candidate must possess strong computer skills, excellent language and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Facility with standard computer programs (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) required.
