On April 16th, the MS in Publishing Program at Pace University hosted the Spring 2025 Student – Alumni Networking Event. It was a night full of laughter and exciting conversations, the perfect way to end the semester and welcome the Spring season!

Students, faculty, and alumni gathered at Student Center West at One Pace Plaza, where they were able to enjoy delicious appetizers, delightful music, and connect with other members of the program. The attendees also celebrated the publication of the second volume of The Publishing Lab, an anthology of student creative work run by students in our program, a big achievement for the Pub Lab Team and our community.

Between photos of now published authors holding their new book, and group pictures at our photo backdrop, students were able to network and chat about their current professional goals and share stories from this semester. The program’s director, Professor Soares, also delivered a warm speech, celebrating the Class of 2025 graduates and announcing the winners of the Dyson Awards: Dyson Awards: the MS in Publishing Award to Kayleigh Woltal; The Internship Scholar’s Award to Cassie DeNicola, the Graduate Seminar Scholar’s Award to Amber Grell, and the Experiential Learning Award to Elizabeth Cervantes Guzman.

The MS in Publishing End of Semester Party was a warm reminder of the strong community within the program, a celebratory space for the new Pub Lab volume and the soon to be graduates. We look forward to another successful semester!
