Linda Bathgate

Professor Bathgate is the publisher of Communication and Media Studies at Routledge, an imprint of Taylor & Francis. She has acquired academic and scholarly titles for this list since 1997, and she also commissioned academic communication journals for the first 10 years of her tenure. Professor Bathgate’s prior publishing experience includes editorial work in professional publishing roles at John Wiley & Sons and RIA Group. She is an alumna of the Pace M.S. in Publishing Program, and has been teaching the PUB 624 “Editorial Principles and Practices” course since 2008. While a student at Pace, she worked as the graduate assistant for the program, and helped to publish Opportunitas: The History of Pace University. Professor Bathgate’s undergraduate degree in Literature is from the University of California at San Diego, and she worked as a technical editor before establishing her career in publishing.
