The Academic/Trade division is currently accepting applications for an Editorial Intern for the Oxford University Press USA Summer Internship Program.
Oxford University Press USA’s Academic/Trade division Editorial Interns will gain valuable publishing experience as they help editors and editorial assistants with manuscript preparation and with other editorial duties including:
- Assisting with preparing manuscripts for transmittal to production
- Preparing rejection letters
- Processing gratis requests and payment requests
- General clerical work
At the conclusion of the internship, the Intern can expect to have gained knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the publishing process. Interns will have the opportunity to meet and learn from members of other departments as well.
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
Applicants must be enrolled in a degreed program with at least one year of schooling completed, graduated from a degreed program in the past year or enrolled in a degreed program where college credit is granted for the completion of an internship.
