This week we’d like to introduce you to Bookforum, a magazine and website designed to cover all things book related. The magazine comes out five times a year and features diverse reviews of current books: fiction and nonfiction, interviews, and commentary on the intellectual lifestyle. They have an eye on independent and university publishers; you probably won’t find a review of the latest James Patterson book among their pages.Their website offers access to their articles, and is consistently updated throughout the day. Their sister publication, Art Forum, is a great companion for all of those interested in art issues as well. Check out their blog columns for quick wit and info. Omnivore briefly covers interesting news stories of the day, while Paper Trail takes a look at the top news on books, publishers, and the market.
