The Electronic Media division at W. W. Norton & Company supports the college department in editing and producing e-books, student-oriented websites, and instructor resource materials across disciplines.

 

Political Science & Physical Anthropology Electronic Media Internship, Spring 2014

 

W.W. Norton’s electronic media department is seeking an intern to assist with editorial tasks beginning in March 2014. The electronic media department creates a variety of digital content across disciplines. Duties will include content management and organization through the creation of spreadsheets and other documents as well as an ongoing market research project.

 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both a social science and a science discipline simultaneously, be enthusiastic about the media side of textbook publishing, and be process and organization oriented. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is requires. Pay is $8/hour. Specific work hours are flexible, but interns work up to a total of 20 hours/week for three months.
