Affluent Media formerly American Express Publishing, oversees the company’s brand extensions: American Express Appointment Book program, Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure book programs, Travel + Leisure Elite Traveler Club, Food & Wine Connoisseur Club, Travel + Leisure Golf Players Club, SkyGuide Executive Privilege Club, and Travel + Leisure Family Club, as well as the American Express Publishing check program and product licensing. In this role, Corey is responsible for the acquisition, partnerships, communications, fulfillment, distribution, and planning for these products. Since assuming this role, his group has added more than one million customers, grown revenue by and increased net profit tremendously.

Professor Corey began at American Express Publishing as newsstand manager in magazine circulation in 1996. He was soon promoted to director, retail sales, directing newsstand and book sales through all retail channels. In 1999, his responsibilities increased to overseeing the management of the then start-up membership clubs, as well as the Food & Wine book program. He was promoted to his current role in September 2003. American Express Publishing was acquired by Time Inc. in Oct. 2013.  Before American Express Publishing, Corey worked at Time Inc., Hearst Magazines, and Bertelsmann in various retail and direct marketing roles.

Professor Corey is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and has an MA from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
