Berkshire Publishing Group

Unique opportunity for college student or recent graduate to combine academic and technical interests and to build his/her professional network. Fast-paced, start-up atmosphere in established boutique educational press.

We work with leading authors at major US and international universities. Berkshire editors and authors have founded the Big History Project, been lauded in Education About Asia for their work on Chinese biography, and created the monumental 10-volume Berkshire Encyclopedia of Sustainability.

Requirements: Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs, WordPress, HTML, and Adobe programs; familiarity with macros and coding (CSS, PHP etc.) a plus. Excellent writing and organizational skills are essential.

Because we are so much involved with Chinese content and partners, we welcome interns from China, and value international experience and language skills. Interns learn to create books, ebooks, and subscription website content, and are encouraged to take on special projects in their area of interest. Bard College at Simon’s Rock gives our interns school credit for their work and we are always glad to provide supporting documents for other schools.
