The Sales Assistant assists account managers throughout the entire sales process and functions as their go-to person when they are out of the office. This position provides administrative support and serves as first point person of contact with clients and prospects.
Essential Job Functions:
30% Assists with maintenance of client relationships with advertisers. Streamlines and manages all advertising orders to ensure a smooth process.
20% Assists account management team with projects and support functions relating to direct marketing campaigns/clients.
20% Supports staff with general administrative and office managerial duties.
20% Organizes client and corporate events and meetings. Coordinates travel arrangements.
10% Researches potential clients and maintains client databases.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements: All must be met to be considered.
Education: Completion of high school, or equivalent. College degree preferred.
Experience: Two years’ experience in a fast paced, media related environment.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
Excellent communication and time management.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Job Description
The Executive Assistant provides administrative/executive support to the EVP/President and to the Group Publisher for the Parents Network. This position coordinates scheduling, handles contact with internal and external contacts, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars and other administrative support. Additionally, this position coordinates department events, manages expense reports, acts as the department office manager and provides occasional support to the marketing department.Essential Job Functions
60% Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meeting and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements. Arranges meetings and conferences. Submits expense reports in a timely manner. Answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, provides information or redirects calls as appropriate. Performs other administrative duties as assigned.10% Proposal and sales mailing work (issues, media kits, etc)
10% Supports department staff on as-needed basis (special projects, reservations of meeting rooms, special assignments, handling some travel arrangements, filing/routing of contracts).
10% Supports Sales and Client Services staff by helping to coordinate and execute programs on time and report on program execution. Maintains sponsorship reservation calendars, assists with initial campaign set up, and compiles materials for client facing campaign reporting.

Education: College degree
Experience: Two to three years experience working in fast-paced digital media environment with related administrative experience.Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be discreet and able to handle confidential materials.
Must be capable of exercising good judgment in making decisions and able to work independently.
Must be anticipatory and possess good problem solving skills.
