Dear Colleagues and Graduate Students,

I hope you all enjoyed your winter break. I would especially like to welcome the 21 newly-admitted students to the program. One student is visiting all the way from Wuhan University, and another is a professional research scholar from Beijing. Our faculty and staff look forward to working with you and assisting you this semester.

Please mark your calendar for the following publishing events.

On Thursday, April 12, the Pace University Publishing Department will host the Student/Alumni Appreciation Dinner to recognize student and alumni achievement, as well as the uniqueness of our publishing students and graduates. The event will be held on the 18th floor of 163 William Street from 6–8pm.

Bette Rockmore will give the spring semester lecture as Visiting Professor on Thursday, April 26th, 2018. Ms. Rockmore is a Senior Consultant (and former Vice President of Advertising Sales) at SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Her lecture will take place on the 18th floor of 163 William Street from 6–8pm. She will continue to discuss issues currently facing the publishing and media industries. Refreshments will be served. You will receive an official invitation shortly.

Please make every effort to attend both events.

We wish you a very successful semester. Please feel free to contact me or faculty or staff if you have any questions during the semester. My very best to you for a successful Spring term.
