Pace Publishing alums Shivani Annirood and Madison Nankervis were honored by Publishers Weekly as Publishing’s Brightest Honorees for their contributions to the publishing industry. 


Shivani Annirood, a publicist at Little Brown, Young Readers, created campaigns for Belladonna by Adalyn Grace and Strong, a children’s picture book by Rob Kearny. In a quote to PW, LBYR Associate Publicity Director Cassie Malmo praised Annirood’s “poise, grace, professionalism, enthusiasm, and her out-of-the-box approach to crafting campaigns.” 


Madison Nankervis, Senior Marketing and Social Media Associate at Sourcebooks, grew the Sourcebooks TikTok from 2,000 followers to 11,000 in under six months. She also executed successful media campaigns for backlist titles, including the BookTok sensation The Summer of Broken Rules by K. L. Walther. A colleague told PW that “Madison Nankervis is passionate, has deep industry knowledge, is always seeking out new ways to connect our books with readers, and is a true star to watch.”
