New for the 2023-2024 school year, the M.S. in Publishing program will host a 90-minute guest lecturer once a month. Each lecturer will discuss their careers so far and answer questions from students in a small, 10-person format. A zoom option is also available for our online students.

September’s lecturer is Pace University M.S. in Publishing Alum Ayana Underwood. She will be speaking on Tuesday, September 25th from 4-5:30 pm at 161 William Street, room 1801.

Ayana currently works as an Associate Editor for Verywell Mind. While in the program, she interned at W.W. Norton in the subsidiary rights department and for the marketing department at Hachette Book Group. She also served as a graduate student aide for the program.

Since graduating from the program, Underwood worked as a freelance editor before starting at Verywell Mind as an editorial assistant. She has since been promoted to her current position as Associate Editor.
