Penguin Random House has acquired the wellness and self-help publisher Hay House. Hay House’s mission is to spread positivity through the body, spirit, and mind, embracing a range of diversity in their staff and authors to establish a deeper community and inspire. Louise Hay was the founder of the house in 1984. They have established offices in California and New York City, as well as the U.K., Australia, and India.
Oaklins DeSilva+Philips orchestrated the transaction deal, but specifics were not disclosed to the public. Announced on December 12th, 2023, the deal allows former distribution client of PRHPS, Hay House, to gain access to further resources.
Both companies stated that the CEO of Hay House, Reid Tracy, will maintain editorial and publishing power. Additionally, no changes are planned for its London, New York, or Carlsbad offices concerning positions and management.
