‘Tis the season to be publishing! As the clock neared the end of another semester at Pace University’s MS in Publishing program, students and alumni gathered for an evening that was equal parts networking prowess and festive frivolity.
The MS in Publishing department hosted an Alumni-Student Networking event to mark the end-of-the-year celebration. It was held on Wednesday, December 6 from 4:00 pm- 7:30 pm at the Student Center West in One Pace Plaza. Right before the beginning of finals week, it was an evening that seamlessly blended professional development and festive celebration.
A notable aspect of the evening was the informal mentorship sessions that spontaneously took shape. The alumni, eager to contribute to the growth of the next generation, offered guidance and support to students navigating the intricacies of the publishing landscape. The transition from networking to celebration marked the end of a successful semester. The festive ambiance, complete with seasonal music and a spread of treats, provided a backdrop for students and alumni to unwind and reflect on achievements, both academic and extracurricular.
