This year’s Eliot Schein lecturer, Maja Thomas, will present “Innovation in Publishing: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?” on April 4th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. RSVPs will be sent via email to students and staff in March.

Thomas, the Chief Innovation Officer at Hachette Book Group, works internationally across the company’s divisions to foster collaboration with tools such as AI and big data. She is also a member of the International Executive Board at the publisher.

The Eliot DeYoung Schein Lecture was created in 1999 by former Pace University Publishing Professor Eliot DeYoung Schein with the intention of giving students the opportunity to learn from and meet publishing executives.
