The Brooklyn Book Fair is currently taking place, having started on Sunday, September 22nd and ending on Monday, September 30th. The nine-day span will consist of literary events, city wide book ends, Children’s Day, Festival Day and Literary Marketplace Day, as well as virtual events if one cannot attend in person. The Brooklyn Book Fair connects readers of diverse backgrounds and cultures through a week of cultural community programming. It also celebrates published work and showcases local and national authors and publishers. There will be a plethora of people in the publishing industry at the events so that readers and writers alike can network and learn new things over the span of the fair. From events discussing cookbooks to poetry, the virtual events are just as promising as the in-person ones. They are a great option for anyone who will be busy this upcoming week!
