Professor Erin Cox is stepping into two exciting new roles that reflect her passion for both the creative and business sides of publishing. Cox has been named Publisher of Publishing Perspectives, an international industry media site and daily newsletter, and a brand of Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH. Publishing Perspectives is a strong voice in conversations shaping the future of the global publishing landscape. Partnering with long-time publishing reporter Andrew Richard Albanese, Cox has also recently launched a new digital media venture, Words & Money, that “will provide essential news, analysis, opinion, as well as select reviews, and resources that will center the role of libraries in the 21st Century publishing business.” In addition to daily updates on their web site (https://www.wordsandmoney.com), later this month, they will begin publishing a weekly newsletter featuring long-form reportage and key interviews. Later this spring, they will also release a bi-weekly podcast that will present news and interviews with authors and newsmakers. With these new roles, Professor Cox continues to expand her impact and leadership across the industry, bringing insight and innovation to her career and the publishing world.
