Comic Con Panel  

“Teaching Comics in Colleges” 

We are thrilled to announce that the MS in Publishing Program will be hosting a Comic Con panel this upcoming October 16th. This event will take place both in zoom and in-person at 1 Pace Plaza, Zannino Room (102 West) from 4PM to 6PM. During this panel, professionals in comics and publishing will discuss how comics and graphic novels have become part of the educational discussion at colleges and universities.  

We are honored to welcome Ioana Atanassova, co-editor of the Journal of Comics & Culture, Eliot Borenstein, Interim Vice Chancellor/Vice Provost of New York University, Matthew Brake, co-editor of the Journal of Comics & Culture, Stephanie Burt, Loker Professor of English at Harvard, and Eisner Hall of Fame Comics Writer/Artist, teacher at SVA, to this event. This panel will be moderated by Prof. Paul Levitz.
